Research Platform Theoretical and Numerical Methods
Research Platform Theory and Simulations

A combination of theoretical and sophisticated numerical methods is necessary in order to understand the behaviour of complex, multicomponent soft matter composites. Experts in many of these techniques are members of the SoftComp NoE and a combination of these techniques is applied to all the research areas where SoftComp is active.

As a central computing facility the SoftComp Cluster is operated in collaboration with the Jülich Supercomputer Center (Please see the navgation bar on the left).

The theory groups can be contacted for questions on the interpretation of experiments, theoretical backgroud or methodological problems concerning the respective technique.
